Bio

Greetings

I am Mrs. Beverly Cannon; I am married to Joseph A. Cannon, Sr. and we have five children; four daughters and one son. Our youngest, Joseph, is a Sr. at Humboldt Jr.and Sr. High School.

It has always been my desire to become a teacher, every since I can remember. My mother is a retired schoolteacher, and I grew up seeing her compassion for young people and to see her determination to insure that ALL of her students succeeded; and I find myself with that same determination. I have a genuine love for people, especially young people and would like to help shape and mold them, through a good education, into productive citizens.

My desire to become a special educator is inspired by my knowing that I can be a major component that helps ALL students succeed.

I come into this school year with great expectations for our students as well as myself. I pledge to be the best teacher that I can be and encourage each student to be the best student that they can be; and together, we can reach higher heights in every positive thing we do!
