Assistant Principal

It has been a dream of mine to make a difference in the lives of children, and I am able to fulfill that lifelong dream every day, in my role as Assistant Principal. I am passionate about education and about helping students reach their goals. It is my hope to support and motivate teachers to be the best they can be for their students every day.

I was born and raised in Jackson and spent the first part of my career in Jackson-Madison County. Originally, I began at Liberty High School as a teacher. I then moved to the Central Office where I was a Special Education Consulting Teacher for the district. I received a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Memphis at Lambuth, a Master of Science in Education from the University of Martin, and an Educational Specialist degree from Carson Newman University. In May of 2018, I graduated from Carson Newman University with my Doctorate in Education.

I am married to my best friend and we have three children under the age of 6. They keep me busy. When there is time, I enjoy running and working out. We love to travel and try to make our way to the beach as much as possible. I look forward to a great year at Humboldt Junior Senior High School.
