This is my first year at my alma mater! I am teaching 7th and 8th Grade Social Studies.
I started teaching in 2015 as a student in the Memphis Teacher Residency program. I completed my student teaching at the The Soulsville Charter School in South Memphis while earning my Masters in Urban Education. While in that 4 year program, I received coaching and guidance from accomplished and successful teachers in the Shelby County Schools District.
After completing my student teaching, I worked in three other SCS schools: Humes Preparatory Academy in North Memphis, Melrose High School in Orange Mound, and Power Center Academy Middle School in Hickory Hill.
