Teacher
I am a 2004 graduate of South Side High School in Jackson, Tennessee. After graduation, I attended Jackson State Community Collage before moving on to the University of Memphis. While at the University of Memphis I obtained my degree in education. I graduated from UofM in December of 2010. I also attended Bethel University where I graduated in 2015 with my master’s degree in education.
I have my bachelors and masters degree in education. I am certified in all subjects grade k-6, and I am certified in English grades 7-12.
I came to Humboldt Junior Senior High School in November of 2018. I wanted to be closer to my family. This is my second full year at Humboldt, and I am so excited to be teaching English I and English III.
Prior to working in Humboldt, I taught in Jackson and in Hardeman County. I have taught kindergarten, 6th grade english, social studies, and science. I have also taught 7th and 8th grade English.
I have been married to my husband Josh since April of 2016. We got married at the beautiful Opera House in Humboldt. We have one son, Collyn. Collyn will turn two in August. We are also the proud owner of Ella, she is our wild and crazy minature shepard.
