Structure of Class: Our class is designed to meet individual needs of students in person and virtually.

 

 

Text(s): We work from various workbooks and online curriculum that support individual student needs.

 

 

1st Quarter Focus Standards:

            TSWL:   Addition (All levels)                            Reading Fluency (sight words)

                        Subtraction (All levels)                        Reading Comprehension        

                        Multiplication                                     Vocabulary

                        Money                                                 Spelling

 

 

Student Responsibilities

  • attending classes on time and regularly. (In person and virtually)
  • being prepared for classes with all necessary supplies.
  • completing all assignments (paper packets and/or virtually).
  • respecting themselves and others.
  • reading on a regular basis.
  • doing their best.

  • Be Respectful
  • Be Responsible
  • Be Honest
  • Be Polite

 

Classroom Rules

  • Follow Directions
  • Stay in your seat
  • Raise your hand when you need something
  • Keep all supplies at your desk

 

 

 

Virtual Classroom Rules

  • Dress appropriately
  • Be logged in to TEAMS on time
  • Be respectful to others in virtual meeting
  • Participate during meeting. (If you have a question speak up!)

 

 

Classroom Procedures

  • When entering/leaving classroom use germ-x
  • Walk to your assigned seat and get out learning materials
  • Be respectful

 

 

Classroom Consequences/Rewards

Students may earn free time, treasure box, cooking time, or other rewards they might be interested in each week due to positive behavior. Consequences are given based on student needs.

 

Attendance

Attendance is required by state law. Students are expected to be present 180 days of school and be responsible for material missed when absent. Absences shall be classified as either excused or unexcused.

 

Grades

Grades are taken at least once a week.

 

Grading Scale

Grading scale is based on each students individual needs
