I attended and graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science
Bachelor of Science in education with a minor in Athletic Training. I am also a Licensed Athletic Trainer for over 20 plus years. I also hold my certification as an instructor in Cardiopulmonary Resusitation for both healthcare providers and the general public.
This being my second year teaching Health Science, Medical Therapeutics as well as Anatomy and Physiology. I have worked with this age group for almost 20 years mainly in athetics and rehabiitation, but during that time I have taught classes for various Health Science programs and seminars.
I began his career in 1985 as a student at The University of Tennessee at Martin. Since those days he has worked in almost every environment open to an Athletic Trainer. I have worked with school systems from Jr High to the University level, Industrial setting, Corporations as well as in the professional athletics. I have had the privileged to provide medical coverage in everything from church league softball, to professional rodeo including, events such as NFL Hall of Fame Bowl, 5 TSSAA State Championships games and the College National Finals Rodeo on two separate occasions. During my 20+ year career, I have held positions not only as a medical provider caring for the Athletes, but also in Sports Medicine administration, Orthopedic and Physical Therapy Clinics.
When I am not at school, I enjoy being outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and working on my farm.
